Too often, as salon owners, you are so focused on the day to day small things that you easily lose sight of the bigger picture.
Take a minute and think back to what your vision was when you opened your doors. I know that you wanted to be the owner of a beautiful, successful business, with clients who would come back, refer their friends, and have staff who were professional, well groomed, and worked harmoniously together to achieve great results.
So, are you on track? I’m guessing that many of you will answer no. And that’s reality, because business does take its twists and turns, some planned and some not.
As a result of the survey, I have been learning a lot about what salon owners are wanting. I am also learning that you are time poor and lacking funds to effectively market your business.
The alarming point is that few of you understand what image your salon has and how that is perceived by your clients.
How can you grow your business if you don’t know what your business is?
Question! Why do you repeatedly shop at a certain location, or dine at a particular restaurant? There is a reason, a distinct and clear message that you relate to that keeps you returning.
It’s no different with your business. What is the message that you want your clients to receive about you?
My goal is to help you define what this message is about, and how to capitalize on it through the 5 essential areas of image management. Your recipe for success is dependant on you knowing and understanding this. Only then can you really go out to market your salon and build your business.
