If people love what they see and experience, they come back, and will refer their friends. If they don’t like what they see and experience, then they won’t come back, but the other part of this is that they will often broadcast their bad experience to all their friends. Can you remember when you last experienced bad service, or just wasn’t happy about a restaurant you went to or a salon? What did you do?
I bet you told all of your friends what happened. It’s as though you have a juicy piece of gossip and want to celebrate that business’ downfall to appear knowledgeable and badly done by.
Now, you can’t afford to risk losing clients at all, let alone having them pass on all of that bad publicity.
This is the time of year when things are looking pretty good. The appointment book is filling up, as everyone starts to think about preparing themselves for the warmer months and festive season. You start to gear up and stock your shelves with product and packages to sell. But, don’t be complacent.
Have you paid some thought to January and February bookings? This is when the crunch comes, when people are away, and recovering from their Christmas spending, and then comes the school fees to pay in February. Bookings drop off and only the essential bookings and purchases keep you afloat. You don’t want to reduce your staff hours incase they start looking elsewhere.
So, what to do? Even in the busiest times of the salon, it takes 90 days for the business to flow through, so why not place some thought to taking time to reassess what you are doing, where you are going and whether it fits with your goals and vision. Can you raise the bar and claim more of the market than you already have? Of course you can.
I am sure there are so many areas where you can make some improvements to your branding, and to let you in on a secret, I have been busy securing an army of experts to help you in all areas of your strategic marketing message, but, I need your help. So that I can understand 100% the current challenges you face in marketing your business, I have prepared a short survey that I would really appreciate you completing for me.
And because I respect your time and value your input I am offering a free e book titled ‘Timeless Style’ valued at $25 to all who complete this survey. I am also going to award one free membership valued at $297 to a lucky person who has completed the survey. Please feel free to pass this on to a friend too if you think they can help too and might be deserving of a free gift.
I thank you in advance and look forward to hearing from you.
