Don’t just get dressed in the morning, dress to win!
Make sure that everyone you meet that day will have a first class experience of you.
Here are some tips to ensure that you are dressing to win:
- Where are you going today? Dress for the location, climate, surroundings, and expectations of those that you will be with.
- What are your goals for today? How might what you wear and how you wear it have an impact on what you want to achieve?
- Are you wearing your outfit or uniform in a way that is complimentary to you and to the business you represent?
- Don’t forget the small but very noticeable finishing touches. These are the things that speak volumes about who you are as a person. E.g. correct grooming and personal hygiene.
- Take one last look in the mirror before you leave and check for flaws.
This Week’s Task
Attention anything that you have that is tardy, stained, worn, needing repair, replacement, alteration, and fix it.

Martin Ginnane says
That goes for men to Julie. It is very distressing to see how the standard of male corporate dressing is declining. Dress appropriately and show people you care about yourself like you will about them and you will succeed.
Julie Hyne says
Totally agree Martin, the dress code is definitely leaning towards a more casual appearance, and one should never forget it can be the little things, in grooming and tidiness that can make a big difference.
Lisa Barron says
Julie, very true, that is why the successful corporate sector of the fashion market is still doing well, in store with great service I might add.
Norma Anderson says
